I thought I'd start up my journal with a little poem first.

I enter a room and I see you, my world instantly floods with happiness as I’m greeted by your soft voice, that same glow in your eyes, like a star twinkling in the night sky, such beauty. You gaze at me, almost lovingly awaiting my response, yet my expression says more than words could, I whisper to you “I love you” and you smile, and you respond “I love you to” as I stand there gazing at you, in love with you as a cheesy smile draws across my face.

I turn red, such embarrassment, and you hug me, your arms so warm on my freezing skin and I stand there, head hanging low on your shoulder, I look up, gaze at you, your eyes now look like they are alight with fire as I see the reflection of the sunset, something so beautiful only the mind’s eye can capture it. I pause for a moment, I stop, being bought back to reality by the sound of your voice again, talking to me as I gaze up at you, the redness of my cheeks starting to glow, and a flood of heat races across my face, I am in euphoria.

The feeling I experience when in your company is beyond the description of any words in the human language, I could say “I love you”, but that would be an understatement, you are my world, I need you to survive, you are the air I breathe, I need you so I can live, you are my soul, without you I am nothing. I look up at you, and I see a look on your face that shows a feeling of eternal happiness, and I embrace you, hiding the blood-red glow of my face in your shirt as I secretly smile wishing this moment to never end.

Before long I relinquish my grip on you and push myself backward to gaze into your eyes, like looking into the sun your eyes glow so brightly from the flames of the sun, your skin now a shade of light orange from the sun’s almighty light, so beautiful, I lean forwards and place a kiss on your cheek and I turn away, embarrassed. You place a hand on my chin, you turn my head to face you and you return the favour, but not on my cheek, you kiss me with such intensity on my lips, and I don’t know what to do, I kiss you back for a brief moment and pull away before kissing you again.

The night draws in so quickly, it turns black… so cold, yet your arms keep me warm; I jump at you, forcing you to carry me; I lay in your arms, smiling up at you as you walk me down the road, my arm wrapped around you, helping you support me as you walk, I lift my head up and kiss you on the cheek, and I watch you smile, a beaming grin across from ear to ear. I return to hiding myself in your shirt, burying my face so you can not see me, you stop and place me down on the ground and wish me goodbye, I give you one final kiss and embrace you for a short time, then I wish you farewell and turn around, “so long my love, may we meet again”.
